- Me: Ok, so march.
- Friend: *Marches*
- Me: No, not like that. Your upper body can't move. Roll your feet. Now stop jerking. Now go backwards. Now on your toes. No, stop bouncing. Now jazz run.
- Friend: How do you guys do this?
- Me: Now do it with an instrument.
- Me: Now with a uniform.
- Me: Now memorize eight minutes of music.
- Me: Now memorize 90 places on the field and how long it takes to get there.
- Me: Now make the forms look pretty too.
- Me: Now spend 14 hours a week at practice.
- Me: Now do it in whatever weather conditions happen to exist at the moment.
